Service Description

Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH) - for those who authorise the sale of alcohol, or manage or supervise in premises where alcohol is sold. It is a 'relevant qualification' under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005 for anyone applying for a personal licence in Scotland. Gaining the qualification allows the learner to apply for their personal licence alcohol without supervision. The licence is valid for 10 years with refresher training required within the first 5 years. Our course lasts approximately 8 hours including a 40 question paper assessment at the end of the taught content.

Please be aware that no refunds are given. If you cannot make your course date we can discuss a reschedule if you get in touch no later than 24 hours before the start date. Any cancellations/no shows after this time frame, it will be at the discretion of the centre if a reschedule can be offered.
