High risk industries and occupations need to provide a
support structure that will care for employees who are seriously hurt. At
Enhance we provide training to a standard that includes oxygen therapy, airways
management using non-invasive adjuncts and cervical spine control. These
three basic components of trauma management minimise the harm caused by injury
and allow you to deliver the casualty to the emergency services in the best
possible condition.
Our clients for this course include the police service,
fire service, the British Council in the UK and abroad, heavy engineering and
remote pylon workers.
This course is not intended to replace the need for
contacting an ambulance or seeking other medical attention. It is targeted
at those individuals and employees who are at risk of serious injury and who may
not have immediate access to an emergency ambulance as a result of circumstance
or location. These skills in managing serious injuries fill the gap from the
time of injury until the ambulance attends.
